LAUDERDALE COMMUNITY COUNCIL : Energy Developments

There are a number of energy developments at
various stages of consultation and planning in
and around Lauderdale, including wind farms,
solar farms, battery storage and grid
infrastructure (see map for locations).
The Lauderdale Community Council Energy
Sub-Group are endeavouring to keep the
community fully informed of developments and to represent the community views in any submissions it makes.
Please keep a look out for on-going surveys to make your views known.
Surveys produced by the Lauderdale Community Council to date can be found at this link.
Further information on each development can be found by clicking on the photographs below where you will find

S.B.C would like to draw our attention to their Scottish Borders Renewable Energy Developments Map which was recently updated up until 26th March 2026. This map replaces the former Wind Farm Map and now covers a wider range of renewable energy technologies.
